Paint Flow Improver

Now offering another method of painting with the Flow Improver product from Liquitex.  Add a 3-5 drops to start and mix to combine.  Add more to get to your desired consistency.  Mostly used by the painting community to loosen paint making it easy to add to your canvas AND offers a way to increase the paint opacity.  There is a large amount of information surrounding the "flow method" with an easy search.  We love this method of painting by number here and hope you will experiment and enjoy it also.   Flow Method is an almost milk consistency that changes the way you paint.  Watch the video below before trying this product.

This acrylic flow aid can reconstitute thickened paint, bringing it back to a smoother, more workable consistency so it's easier to load your brush and get painting again.

How to Use:  (to attempt reconstitution) 

1. Open the dried or thickened paint pod.
2. Add a small amount of Flow Aid to the paint.
3. Mix thoroughly with a toothpick, brush handle, or other small tool, working the Flow Aid all the way through.
4. Keep adding small amounts, mixing well each time, until the paint feels smooth and brush-ready.
5. If needed, let it sit a few minutes, then give it one more good stir before you start painting.

A little goes a long way. Start small, you can always add more, but it's hard to undo paint that's too diluted.
