Unleash the Hidden Artist

I’ve yet to start Majestic Mountains because I’m finishing Sincerest Stems. While in middle school my art teacher looked at my barn watercolor and asserted, “You are not an artist!” I haven’t picked up a paint brush since. One of my retirement goals is to explore areas where I’ve lacked talent, so Pink Picasso was a great place to start. Learning the turns of a brush and the unleased relaxation of dabbing color has given me so much joy. And it looks beautiful. Think I’ll hang it as a reminder to never again let creativity be stifled by harsh judgement.
